He was in the graduating class of 1998 at A Phillip Randolph School. Andre was a Firefighter for the City of Jacksonville for 10 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Latanya Hills; son, Andre Jr., mother, Rosyland Hills; 2 brothers, Leonard (Lameka) Andrews, Calvin Andrews; sisters, Sabrina and Latesha Hills; aunts, June Andrews, Tina Andrews, Rosemary James, Ernestine Allen; uncle, Timothy Andrews; devoted nephews, Joseph, Leonard Jr., Larhode, Chris, Ranard, and Calvin Jr.; niece, Keriyae; mother and father-in-law, Tanya and Jerome Harrison; very close friends, Torrence Toomer, Jerry Cotton and Steve Cotton; a host of cousins, other relatives, church family, and many friends.

Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, June 11 at the Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church, 10325 Interstate Center Drive, Dr. Eugene W. Diamond, Pastor, Dr. Lewis Williams, Officiating. Andre can be viewed by loved ones and friends on Mon., June 10 from 5-8pm at the Firefighters Local 122 Union Hall, 618 Stockton St. and 9am, Tues. until the hour of service at the church. Interment will be in the Edgewood Cemetery. Professional services from the Heart entrusted in the care of Sarah L. Carter's Funeral Home.
