NEW CASTLE--Former Muncie native, the Rev. Ronald W. Perry, 52, New Castle, died unexpectedly July 30, 2005. He served in the U.S. Army and worked at Dayton-Walther Corp. for 12 years. He was the pastor of the United Pentecostal Church of New Castle for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Delilah D. (Wilson) Perry; two daughters, Natalie (husband-Tommy) Bell and Amanda Perry; sisters, Sandra (husband-Robert) Dye, Jola (husband-Cliff) Patterson, and Betty (husband-Danny) Delk; brothers, Donnie (wife-Lisa) Perry, Jimmy (wife-Susie) Perry, Richard (wife-Pat) Perry, Johnny Perry, Joe Perry, and Brian Haskins; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Pentecostal Church Campground Sanctuary in Fortville with the Rev. John Martin and Rev. Jerry Jones and several other ministers officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today at the United Pentecostal Church in New Castle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Pentecostal Church Building Fund. Arrangements are being handled by Marcum-Troxell Community Funeral Home, New Castle.
