Melba Lee Hill went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 21, 2013.

She was born November 26, 1929 in Bonham Texas, the 11th of 12 children born to the late Isaac Dewitt Duncan and Myrtle Kinkade Duncan.

She graduated from Bonham High School in 1948. In 1952, Melba married the love of her life, Clifton Mason Hill, USN (retired). They were married 54 years before Clifton preceded her in death in 2005.
Melba worked 30 years for the U.S. General Services Administration "Civil Service." From 1964 to 1987 she worked at the Corpus Christi Army Depot and was proud to have served her country in this way.

She was a loving wife and mother and an active member of Second Baptist Church since 1986.

Melba is survived by her children, George "Kim" Hill and wife Lisa, and Kevin Hill; 3 grandchildren, Mason Hill, Janell Pearson and husband John, and James Oliver; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive visitors from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Tuesday May 28, 2013 at Seaside Funeral Home.

A Funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Baptist Church, 6701 S. Staples, Corpus Christi, TX 78413 or other charity of one's choice.
