Lindsey R. Fox, 87, of 330 Church Run Road, Spraggs, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, October 21, 2001, in his home.
He was born March 22, 1914, in Brock, a son of Newton and Daisy Moore Fox.
Mr. Fox was a member of Valley Chapel Methodist Church in Brock and Mt. Morris Sportsman Club.
He worked for the WPA and was a school bus driver. On September 2, 1979, he retired from Perry Township schools in Central Greene School District after 30 years as custodian.
His wife, Sylvia Britton Fox, died November 11, 1964.
Surviving are a daughter, Aileen Kiger of Mt. Morris; a son, Sammy Fox of Spraggs; five grandchildren, Lindsey Kiger, Mary Jane Kiger McLean, Joanna Kiger Patterson, Mark Allen Kiger and Harold Roland Fox; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Anderson and Thelma Hartley, both of Mt. Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Homer Fox, is deceased.
