Fred A. Alderman, 61

Fred A. Alderman, 61, of Montezuma, Iowa, died Tuesday June 11,1996 at Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell.
Funeral services were held Friday June 14, 1996 at First Presbyterian Church in Montezuma. Rev. George Salnave and Rev. Glenn Huslebus officiated the services.
Burial was in the Jackson Township Cemetery.
Fred was born September 1, 1934 at Fremont, Iowa, the son of Albert and Neva (Caskey) Alderman. He graduated from Lacey High School in 1952. On June 5, 1964 he was united in marriage with Ruby Septer at the Methodist Church in Lacey, Iowa. To this union two children were born. Fred and Ruby have lived most of their married life in Montezuma, where Fred worked for Joyce Lumber Co. and for nearly 30 years with the Poweshiek County Road Department until retiring in the spring of 1995. In his early years he drove a semi coast to coast for Ace Trucking. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Fred love to hunt, fish, camp and travel and above all he loved being with his family and visiting with people.
He was preceded by his parents.
Fred is survived by his wife Ruby; two children; two sibling and other relatives and many friends.
A memorial has been establish for Grinnell Regional Hospice or Grinnell Regional Home Care or Presbyterian Church Family TV Ministry.
