Mrs. Brice Stowe
Mrs. Iva Stewe, 62, of Eustis, Fla., a former resident of Hammond, died Tuesday in Eustis.
She was a member of the auxiliary of Hammond American Legion Post 16, the Women's Society of Christian Service and the Methodist church.
Surviving are her husband, Brice; a daughter, Mrs. Janet Johnson of Star City, Ind., a son, James Pause of Hammond; a sister, Mrs. Lula Hossier of Rockport, Ind.; two brothers, Jess Garrett of Christnel, Ind., and Willie Garrett of Clinton, Ind., and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Clarence JJ. Huber Funeral Home, 722 165th St., Hammond, with the Rev. Stanley Donaldson oficiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville.
