CAROLYN ANN CARVER, 60, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009, 1:45 a.m., at Colonial Nursing Center in Rockford, Ohio. She was born May 17, 1948, in Decatur, daughter of Clair and Marjorie (Graham) Carver; they both survive in Monroe. Carolyn was a member of Salem Community Church in Salem, Ind., she attended Adams Central School and was a beautiful singer, as well as playing the piano. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Barbara L. Carver of New Haven; brother, David C. (Lois) Carver of Valparaiso; nephew, Joshua Carver of North Hollywood, Calif.; niece, Cara (E.J.) Olson of Indianapolis; and great-niece, Lila Christine Olson of Indianapolis. Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Pastor James Compton officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Tricker Cemetery in Blue Creek Township.
