BRYAN BRAMMER
Bryan Brammer, 98, Macon, died Friday at Macon Health Care Center in Macon.
Mr. Brammer was born July 5, 1897, at Grand River, Iowa, the son of Marion and Lucinda Wycoff Brammer. He married Josephine K. DeGroot on Jan. 20, 1924 at Macon. They moved to Kansas City in 1951 and then back to Macon in 1969. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Macon.
Surviving are seven sons; Eugene B. Brammer of Carthage; William C. Brammer of Mesa, AZ; Donald Brammer of Lake of the Ozarks; M. Joe Brammer of Independence; Francis D. Brammer of Blue Springs; Richard Brammer of Macon and Harold L. Brammer of Independence; one daughter, Mrs. Dan (Iris) Arnold of Macon; 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Dora Dunn, of Kansas City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on Sept. 1, 1990 and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Rev. Eugene Stueve officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Macon. Visitation will be from 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Zion Lutheran Church at Macon and these may be left at the funeral home.
