Mrs. Amanda C. Fry died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Barton, near Calvary on last Sunday morning, aged 37 years, seven months and seven days.
Her funeral was preached at Wesley Chapel on Monday, by Rev. C. M. Hesser, and she was buried at the Union Forge cemetery.

Mrs. Luther Fry, formerly Miss Amanda Barton, who was educated at this school, died at Lantz' Mills, Shenandoah County, on the 24th of February, leaving little son. Her husband, who was also educated here, died in Washington, D. C. about five years ago.
