Wife of Jacob Rearick. Acording to Pearl Kaler's book "The Genealogical History of the Rearick Family" she was called "Peggy." She may have also had the name "Rebecca" as she apears thus in the 1860 Census. Born in area that is now Union County before its creation out of Northumberland. Upon the untimely death of her husband, Jacob, she ran the farm and raised her children with the help of her brother, Thomas Catherman (b. ~1808).
