CLAUDE — Terresa Jean Collins, 59, of Claude died Friday, June 7, 2013, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Claude Church of Christ with Shawn Johnson, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery. Arrangements are by Collins, Johnson and Thornberry Funeral Directors of Wellington.

Terresa was born Oct. 20, 1953, in Pampa to William Floyd "Dick" and Opal Kerley Willis. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1972. Terresa married Van Collins on Aug. 12, 1972, in Pampa.

Terresa worked at Betty's Fashions in Pampa and for Armstrong County Clerk's Office in Claude. She was a member of Church of Christ, Beta Sigma Phi sorority and member of The Gracious Gals of the Red Hat Society, and was a director for Panhandle Players theater group.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Van Collins of Claude; two sons, Jeromy Collins of Denton and Jason Collins and wife Julie of Wellington; a sister, Brenda Whitney of Claude; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Jaxon Collins, both of Wellington; and two nieces, Rhianon Whitney of Amarillo and Sarah Whitney of Snyder.

The family suggests memorials be to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Panhandle Branch, 3611 Soncy Road, Suite 6A, Amarillo, TX 79119.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at
Robertson Funeral Directors Armstrong Chapel in Claude.
