Lloyd M. Cunningham was born on a farm near Gladstone Nebraska on June 2,1896. The son of Nicholas and Elizabeth (Rooney) Cunningham. He was Baptized on July 23,1896 at St. Michaels Catholic Church by Fr. A.C. Rausch. He married Ida Doehring on June 1,1916 at St. Michaels Catholic Church . To this union 9 children were born. Lloyd farmed until about 1923,then moved into Gladstone were he did carpentry. Two years later they moved to Plattsmouth were he worked on the railroad for several years. Then moving to Fairbury where he returned to carpentry. Lloyd passed away in the local hospital on September 19,1950 in Fairbury. Services were held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Fairbury.
