Elmer Rodney Domina, age 76 of Atwood, Kansas died on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at a nursing home in Atwood, Kansas.

Pallbearers will be Doyle Andersen, Gordon Olson, Larry Domina, Vera Benson, Kim Bodensteiner, and Vicki Fisher.

Elmer Rodney Domina was born on May 25, 1937 in Hartington, Nebraska to Lloyd Everett and Jetta Eda (Strivens) Domina. He grew up in the Randolph area and graduated from Randolph High School. Elmer graduated with a degree in Diesel Mechanic Repair in 1954 from the Nebraska Trade School at Milford, NE. He worked for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington for a few years and then returned to the Pleasant Valley area where he farmed for a few years. Elmer moved to Lincoln and worked for the city of Lincoln repairing their police cars for 18 years. He retired and moved to Atwood, Kansas in 1989.

He is survived by two sisters Anna Belle Andersen of Harrison, NE, Janet and husband Glen Olson of Laurel, NE; two brothers and spouses Marvin and Jackie Domina of Coleridge, NE, Alan and Karen Domina of Lincoln NE; sisters-in-law Betty Domina of Merrill, MI, and Donetta Domina of DeKalb, IL; many nieces and nephews.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, sister Margaret Ilene Warner on 7/25/2002; two brothers Lyle Donovan Domina on 9/16/2008, Dean Howard Domina on 1/23/2011. Obituary & Photo is from The Wintz & Ray Funeral Home
