Louise K. Buzolich Nov. 6, 1918 - Jan 9, 2000

Louise K. Buzolich, 81, of Crown Hill Drive, South Bend, Ind., died on Sunday evening, Jan. 9, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center.

Louise was a teacher with the South Bend Community Schools for 41 years and, during those years, taught first-grade children in an army dependants school in Salzburg, Austria, from 1952-1953, retiring in 1981.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1918, in South Bend, to Paul and Katherine (Klemen) Buzolich, who preceded her in death, and had been a lifelong area resident.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Jane Buzolich of South Bend; five nieces and two nephews; and by nine great-nieces and two great-nephews.

Louise was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Joseph County Retired Teachers Association, Indiana Teachers Association, Indiana State University Alumni, and she was a volunteer at Healthwin Hospital and at the Leighton Center.

Mass of christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Jan. 13, in Christ the King Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osceola, Ind.
