Mrs. Melvina Wherry Troxel, 68, of 1625 21st Ave, Longview, died at home Aug 15 after an illness of several years. She was born April 3, 1884, in Dot, WA.

She came to Longview from Roosevelt, WA, in 1923.

Surviving are her husband, Seth A.; three daughters, Mrs. Jack Updegraff of Longview, Mrs. Edward Null Jr. of Seattle, and Mrs. C. N. Alldredge of Vancouver, WA; two sisters, Mrs. Alvin Keinath of Portland, and Miss Mary Wherry of Portland; two brothers, Dr. O. F. Wherry of Portland, and J. D. Wherry of Roosevelt.

Services will be at 2:30 pm Monday in Steele Chapel with Rev. James Whitaker officiating. Interment will be in Longview Memorial Park.
