J.W. Massengale of the Wesley Chapel community died March 8th at his home and was buried the following day in the cemetery of that neighborhood. Mr. Massengale was one of the old-time citizens of Jack County, having located here in 1880, was a progressive citizen and a consistent member of the Methodist Church. Survived by his wife; one son - Dallas Massengale; two daughters - Mrs. Eva Leach, MRs. Jessie Woodall.
