W.B. ALEXANDER DIES

PIONEER RESIDENT OF COUNTY EXPIRES FROM HEART ATTACK
(Died August 14, 1933)

William B. Alexander, age eighty-seven, died Monday morning at his home in Hemlock of heart trouble and diseases incident to old age. Death was unexpected as he had been about the house as usual Sunday. Mr. Alexander had lived alone since the death of his wife three years ago. When his son, Tom went to the home Monday morning to get his father breakfast, as has been his custom for some time, he found that his father had expired a short time before. Death is thought to have occurred between 6 and 7 o'clock.
Seven other children survive, Ed of Ervin township, William of Sharpsville, Judd of near Tipton, Charles of Tipton, Dock of Indianapolis, Mrs. P.P. Pickering and Mrs. Lulu Rivers of Kokomo.
Mr. Alexander was born in Ohio but came to Howard County when a boy and he had resided in the county since then. He was a member of the Hemlock Friends Church where the funeral will be held Wednesday morning. Burial will be in Crown Point {Albright} Cemetery.
