Charlene Ruth Kerr Wallace, 71, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away June 6, 2013 after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Mrs. Wallace was born August 26, 1941 in Akron, Ohio and was a 1959 graduate of Garfield High School, Akron. She loved her family and pets dearly and was always concerned for the sake of others. Her spunky personality would bring a smile to anyone's face.
Surviving family members include her husband, Stan; daughters, Kathleen Scrimgeour and Sandra (Jimmy) Katopodis; son, Donald Scrimgeour; grandchildren, Kristi, Jordan and Paul; sisters, Catharine (Alan) Rhoads and Darlene (Daniel) Ferlan; brothers, James and Myron Kerr along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mable and Donnie Lee Kerr and brother, Donald Kerr.
Funeral service will be 10 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Mausoleum in Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery, Edgewater, with Rev. Anil Singh, Associate Pastor, Coronado Community United Methodist Church, New Smyrna Beach, officiating.
