WINSTON-SALEM - Mrs. Lillie Carroll Welch, 101, passed away, Tuesday, June 23, 2009. She was a native of Forsyth County and a member of Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Belews Creek. She is survived by a son, Carroll M. Welch (Ordette) of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Janet Warren (Theodore) of Winston-Salem; daughter-in-law, Sarah Frances Welch of Walnut Cove; sister-in-law, Marie Carroll of Walnut Cove; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Ray Smith officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Sinai Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Madison.
