Margaret P. "Peggy" Baker, age 87, of Harrah, Oklahoma was born September 26, 1925, in Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Herbert and Effie Poppy. She left this life on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, in Harrah, Oklahoma.

Peggy was a member of the Summit Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church, Harrah, Oklahoma. She helped her husband in his ministry and worked as a receptionist at Wolfe Living Center until her retirement. Peggy enjoyed crafts, sewing and teaching children. She was a loving mother, an excellent cook, a mother-in-law that most guys only dream of and she loved her family immensely.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leslie Don Baker, son, Jack Baker, one brother, one sister and one granddaughter.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Jeanie Baker of Newcomers Town, Ohio, Scott and Carol Baker of Anchorage, Alaska; Diane Baker of Gentry, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Darvin Hartzo of Tryon, Oklahoma; twenty one grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Summit Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church, Harrah, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery, Harrah, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
