Lydia was born in Holland, Michigan, the daughter of Lorenzo Lawrence and Adealia (Wedeman). She married Donald B. McCullough, and they had four children, Thomas, Martha, Lloyd and Jennie. She was a young mother when she died unexpectedly in her home from an unknown cause. She is survived by her parents; husband; children; brother William Lawrence; half-sisters May (Tingley), Minnie (DeFeeyter), and Ruth (De Feyter); and half-brothers, John Jones and George Lawrence. She was preceded in death by an infant brother Enos, and a half-sister Estella.
