In September 1918, on his World War I Draft Registration, Waldo gave his occupation as self-employed mine operator, Justice of the Peace, and druggist in Iowa Hill. With his father Charles F. Macy, Waldo ran the store "C. F. Macy & Son" in Iowa Hill for many years, and he was the Iowa Hill Postmaster from October 1929 to October 1940. In the 1902's he also served as Deputy Coroner and Undertaker.
He was married to Ida May WILLIAMS, and they had three children.
