Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 3, at the Methodist Church in Tatum for Mrs. Jim Waldron, pioneer of Rusk County, who died in a local hospital here at 1 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Waldron was 77. She had lived most her life in the Tatum community. Funeral services were conducted by ED Matherson. Burial was in the Waldron cemetery in Easton,[ Camdem] under the direction of the Welch Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Robert Parrish, Grady Yarborough, Benny Sharron, W.A. Johnson, Woodrow Copeland, and Neal Mullins. Mrs. Waldron was survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. (G.V.) Virginia Pruitt, and a grandsons Robert Parish, Jimmy Pruitt, both of Shreveport.
