Mary Grace (Pugliese) Miller, 95, of Elkhart passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Mary was born January 6, 1927 in Elkhart to Stefano and Rosa (Barone) Pugliese. She was the 11th of their 13 children. She graduated in 1944 from Elkhart High School and was employed as a secretary for C.G.Conn, Miles, and Adams Westlake. On January 1, 1947, she married the love of her life, Dr. William H. Miller Sr. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2002.

Surviving is a daughter, Susan K. Edmundson of Elkhart, a son, William H. Miller Jr. (Candace) of Keller, Texas, 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 4 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Mary lived all of her life in Elkhart surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed life and was fun to be around, always ready to try something new, quick to find the positive in any situation and full of love for everyone around her. She was willing to help, or care for, anyone who needed her. She was a member of several bridge groups, golf leagues and bowling leagues, but her favorite sport was tennis. While in her 80s, she volunteered as a Kindergarten Cares Volunteer at Cleveland and Riverview Elementaries and was adored by the little ones she helped to learn. She had a tremendous love for her family and will be missed by all.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in memory of Mary at 12 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 411 West Vistula Street, Bristol, IN 46507 where visitation will be one hour before.
