Dorothy Irene "Gram" Heinbaugh, 100, of Confluence, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at The Patriot in Somerset. She was born Sunday, December 7, 1913 in Addison Twp., a daughter of Rev. John and Edna (Colflesh) Rodahaver. Her parents, husband, Clifford "Jiggs" Heinbaugh in 1957, son, Don, brother, Albert "Red" Rodahaver and son-in-law, Robert Conn preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Joann Heinbaugh and Delores Eileen Conn, both of Confluence; grandchildren, Greg Heinbaugh, Confluence, Pam Fisher and fiancée, Eddie Hoffman, Rockwood, Dale Conn and wife, Becky, Keedysville, MD, Jeffrey Conn and wife, Danni, and Eric Conn, all of Confluence, David Heinbaugh and wife, Sharon, James Heinbaugh and wife, Kendra, Kevin Heinbaugh and Lori Heishman and husband, Dave, all of Carlisle; 15 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Donetta Heinbaugh, Confluence and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was also an honorary grandmother to Scott, Tara, and Hunter Holliday. Irene was a member of the Harnedsville United Methodist Church. She graduated from Confluence High School in 1932 and worked at Price Hospital in Confluence as a cook and caregiver for Dr. and Mrs. Price for 40 years. Friends will be received from 2-8 PM Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, March 14, 2014 in the United Community Church of God in Ursina with Pastor Samuel McClintock officiating. There will be viewing at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Markleton.
