The graveside service for Virginia Lee Fox Beavers, 76, of 3113 Longview Drive, Collinsville, who died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at her home, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Burial Park. Minister Troy Hollandsworth will officiate.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and other times at the home.
She was born in Cove Creek in Tazewell County, W.Va., on Jan. 28, 1931, to Simon Peter and Lettie May Neel Fox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Beavers in 1998; and two brothers, Jim Neel Fox and Bill Fox.
She was a graduate of Graham High School. She retired from Bassett Walker Knitting Co. after 25 years of service. She was a member of Collinsville Church of Christ.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Lynn Isom of Clyde, N.C.; two sons, Jack Alan Beavers of Collinsville and Harmon Peter Beavers of Grand Forks, N.D.; one sister, Mary Katherine Lambert of Tazewell; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
