For to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. She was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church, taught Sunday school for 30 years, managed restaurants for 25 years and owned two of her own. She was a member of the Dietary Managers Association, loved to talk about her Lord, and was known as a prayer warrior and a soul-winner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy A. and Ida Faust of Rockwood, Tenn.; grandson, Ben Cavitt Jr.; great-grandson, Landon Noblitt; nephew, Roy Turner; fiancé, Arthur L. O'Neal.
Remaining loved ones include three daughters and their spouses, Joyce and Cliff Taylor, Debbie and Floyd Davenport, Desiree and John Rhodes; grandchildren, Shea, Melissa, Porsha, Nick, Zackary, Brandy, Adam, Stephanie and Gary; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Turner and Evelyn Smith; nieces, Barbara and Carol.
Services: Monday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ricky Studder and Chris Cooper officiating. Burial: Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Visitation: Sunday, Nov. 19, from 3-7 p.m., and Monday until service time at Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
