Oscar Lee Gregory, 72, of Conway School Road, Mt. Vernon, KY died Tuesday night at his home following an illness. He was a Rockcastle County native born Feb. 21, 1939, son of the late Rufus and Frankie Miller Gregory, U. S. Army veteran, and retired mechanic with Britton Chevrolet.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Johnson Gregory; 1 daughter, Elaine (Jackie) Milligan; 1 brother, Gillis (Mayme) Gregory; 5 sisters, Reva Abner, Eva (Roy) Lakes, Myrtle York, Bernice (Ed) Dunn, Geraldine (Clyde) Powell; 2 grandchildren, Daniel Milligan, Hannah Milligan; 4 step children; Ronald Coffey, Clifford Coffey, Sarah Edester, Ruth Ann Sturm; 11 step grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Yarber Gregory, 1 daughter, Teresa Mae Gregory, 1 granddaughter, Ashley Gregory, and 1 brother, Ernest Gregory.

Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at Reppert Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Daniel Milligan, Ronald Coffey, Clifford Coffey, Keith Edester, Brady Hensley, Bobby Garland.
