Nancy Beaufort Hickman, 75, wife of Ulysses Hickman died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Clarendon Memorial Hospital, Manning, SC. She was born January 9, 1938 in Greeleyville, SC a daughter of the late Nelson Beaufort, Sr. and Tina Epps Nelson.

She received her formal education at Pleasant Grove School in Clarendon County.

She was a homemaker and was well known for her pies.

She was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church, USA in Alcolu, SC.

Survivors are her husband, Ulysses Hickman of Alcolu, SC; one daughter: Leatha Hickman, Alcolu, SC; two sons: Eugene and Curtis Hickman both of Alcolu, SC; three brothers: Richard Beaufort of Deerfield, FL, Paul (Frances) Beaufort and Henry Beaufort, both of Alcolu, SC; four sisters: Lillie Ann Singleton of Lake City, SC, Ida Joe Watson, Ella Mae (Leon) Lawton and Pearlie Mae Singleton all of Manhattan, NY; one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law.

Celebratory services: Harmony Presbyterian Church, USA, 8883 Hwy. 301, Alcolu, SC with Rev. Carnell Hampton, Eulogist; Rev. Dr. Ernest Jackson, Officiating; Rev. Mary Hagan, Assisting.

Burial: Harmony Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mrs. will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
