A much loved and respected man of the Hampton, Arkansas community passed on May 28, 2013 at Medical Center of South Arkansas, El Dorado, Arkansas.

BJ received his education from Hampton High School where he was liked and respected. He was a talented athlete. He especially excelled in basketball. He did great justice to HHS #32 jersey. BJ attended Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, Arkansas on a basketball scholarship.

BJ worked in pulpwood and then logging, owning his own trucks. He loved to be out in the woods early before sunrise. Later he was a driver for Bill Blann. BJ enjoyed whatever his work.

BJ loved fried chicken, good gospel music, and the Blues. BJ loved to fish--catching fish was secondary.He united with St. Paul Baptist Church early in life. Later in life he united with First Baptist 8th Street, Hampton.

He was united in marriage with his wife of 40 years on May 26, 1973. God blessed them with two children plus a niece that was raised as a daughter, and two grandchildren. BJ is also survived by eight sisters, five brothers, and numerous other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by parents, Lee Artis Randall & Katie Jane McRae Cross, brother James Le Randall, and sister Karen Linda Johnson Dooley FAG# 86786250.
