JUNEAU - Florence M. Pagel, 94, of Juneau, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at Clearview Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center, Juneau.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m., at Murray Community Funeral Home, Horicon. The Rev. Paul Hudson will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, New Berlin.

Mrs. Pagel was born on May 17, 1907, in the town of Knowlton, Marathon County, the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Simonis) Cater. She was married on July 30, 1929, to Ernest Pagel in the town of Knowlton.

Mrs. Pagel attended Mosinee High School and lived in the Waukesha County area for many years. She farmed with her husband on a poultry farm and hatchery. She was a member of Vernon United Presbyterian Church, Big Bend. She lived in Juneau for 17 years and attended United Methodist Church, Juneau. She was fond of and loved to garden and also enjoyed poultry farming with her husband.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy (Roy) Hargrave, Juneau; five grandchildren, Lynn (Ray) Aumann, Hartford, Linda (Ed) Stimbra, California, and Larry (Diana) Wiczynski, Luane (Don) Blackman, and Lee (Rhoda) Wiczynski, all of Tucson, Ariz; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Edmund (Carole) Wicznski, Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Len (Chris) Cater, Sturtevant, and Willard (Irene) Cater, Mosinee; one sister, Neva (Jim) Case, Schofield; nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and special friends,

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest, on Dec. 24, 1977; one daughter, Diane Wiczynski, on April 29, 1999; five brothers, Allen, Arden, Lester, Roy, and Ernest Jr., and two sisters, Elva Hintz, and Lila Christiansen.

Friends may call on Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, from 5 p.m. until the time of service at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Horicon.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Horicon. The Murray Community Funeral Home.
