Jeanne later settled in Denver, Colorado where she married Raymond (Ray) and raised her three children. She worked as a Trust Accountant for Bavington Associates for over 25 years retiring in her late 70's. For the past 28 years, Jeanne and Ray made their home in the Ken Caryl where Jeanne always enjoyed the grazing deer, feeding squirrels on her deck, and sharing special moments with her friends and family.
Jeanne had a passion for music and was actively involved in several choirs at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed walking, reading, traveling abroad, and financial investing.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Ray of 61 years, three children Randal Scott, Bonnie Scott-Stanford, Tom Scott and her four grandsons Cameron Scott, Raymond Scott, Paul Stanford, and Ryan Stanford.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all her caregivers at Heritage Club Greenwood Village for their care and compassion.
A note from Jeanne…..
To Those I Love
When I am gone, just release me,
Let me go – so I can move into my
afterglow. You mustn't tie me down
with your tears; let's be happy
that we had so many years. I gave
you my love, you can only guess
how much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have
shown, but now it's time I travelled alone.
So grieve for me awhile, if grieve you must
then let your grief be comforted
with trust. It's only for awhile that we must
part, so bless the memories within your heart.
And then, when you must
come this way alone, I'll greet you with
a smile and a "Welcome Home."
