Melissa Diane Byrd, of Mize, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1992, at Magee General Hospital from cardiac arrest.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1992, 3 p.m., at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Magee, with Rev. Lynn Nations and Rev. Sidney Davis officiating. Interment was in . Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Miss Byrd was a native Smith County and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Mize.
She was preceded in death by brothers James S. Byrd and Daniel Byrd.
Survivors include parents, James D. and Frances Byrd of Mize; three brothers, Ronald Dale Byrd of Lockport, La., Michael Kevin Byrd and Kenneth Byrd, both of Mize; a number of nieces and nephews.
