Judy Ann Wolf, 69, Bismarck, died June 3, 2013 in a Bismarck hospital. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Thomas R. Marcis and Rev. Douglas Bergalin officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Judy was born July 15, 1943 to Reuben and Othelia (Roemmich) Schiermiester in Bismarck. She was raised and educated in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1962. She married Gerald Wolf on August 30, 1968 at Zion Lutheran Church in Bismarck. Following high school she was employed with Central Dakota Laundry and worked there until she retired in 2005.
Judy enjoyed camping, cooking, canning, playing cards, and gardening, but most importantly, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Jerry, Bismarck; her parents, Reuben and Othelia, Bismarck; sisters, Betty (Gary) Sjomeling, Pollock, SD, Gloria (Gordon) Zimmerman and Pam (Mark) Hoffman, all of Bismarck; nine nieces, six nephews; six great-nieces, and eight great-nephews; brother-in-law Orville (Bonnie) Wolf, Benton, AR; and a special parrot, Duke and dog Frosty.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Hunt and her mother and father-in-law Elleen & John Wolf.
