Died 10:55 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 1986, in Baton Rouge. He was 71, a native of LaSalle Parish and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a millwright for Local No. 720, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Sammy David and the Rev. T.W. Terral. Burial in Redwood Cemetery , Slaughter. Survived by wife, Annie Mae Hadden Doughty, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Ellen Doughty, Baton Rouge, and Charlotte Moore, Greenwell Springs; two sisters, Nell Albritton, Winnsboro, and Sally Bishop, Jackson, Miss.; two brothers, Donald J. Doughty, Jena, and Enos Doughty, Rhinehart; and a granddaughter, Misty Moore, Greenwell Springs. He was a member of Istrouma Lodge No. 414, F&AM. Memorial donations may be made to Greater Baton Rouge Cancer Society, 650 Steele Blvd., 70806.
