CHICOPEE Vivian I. (Bibean) St. Sauveur, 82, formerly of the Aldenville section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Thursday, June 17, 2010 surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in New York City on May 14, 1928, a beloved daughter of the late Eugene and Alida (Cartier) Bibean. She moved at the young age of three with her family to Holyoke where she was raised, then moved to Aldenville in 1950, where she lived for 58 years before moving to Gilbertville in 2008. She was a nurse for 15 years at Mercy Hospital in Springfield and retired in 1983. She was a communicant at Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. Vivian loved being involved with her parish, serving as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, CCD teacher, and volunteering at the weekly bingo. She was proud of her association with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary and was a devoted Associate Member. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fernand E. "Fern" St. Sauveur, who was Called Home on October 1, 2005; her loving son, John A. St. Sauveur who was Called Home on May 12, 1972; and her loving daughter, Aileen T. St. Sauveur who was Called Home on September 4, 1993. She leaves: her loving daughter, Alida L. Senosk and her husband, John of Gilbertville; her loving son, Ralph A. St. Sauveur of South Hadley; her nine cherished grandchildren; her two cherished great grandchildren; and her many dear nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday morning, June 22, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. from the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street in Chicopee. Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery on Olsen Street in Chicopee. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home in the Rose Chapel on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family has requested that memorial donations in Vivian's memory be made to the Sainte Rose de Lima Church Fund, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020 or to Wingate of Hampden, Activities Fund, 34 Main Street, Hampden, MA 01036.
