The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary A. Fisher, 33, widow of the late John Fisher, a brief notice of whose death appeared in Monday's Independent, will be held from the house at 9 o'clock Saturday morning, and at the Lutheran church at West Brookfield at 10:30 o'clock. The body will be placed in a vault in the Massillon cemetery.

Three daughters, Mrs. C. H. Bender, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Mrs. Sarah A. Arment, Mrs. Elizabeth Masters, and three sons, Henry, Daniel and John H., all of Tuscarawas township; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive. Her husband died in 1891, and a daughter, Mary Rebecca, in 1884. One grandson, John S. Masters, died in 1907. Mrs. Fisher was born in Lebanon county, Pa., June 21, 1830. She was one of a family of 10 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kieffer, only one of whom, Mrs. Sarah Lauck, of Palmyra, Pa., survives. She was married to the late John H. Fisher in February, 1850, and moved to Ohio in 1855, settling in West Lebanon, Wayne county, where the family resided until 1868, when it located on the present homestead, near the Crystal Springs tabernacle.
