Nov 7, 1917 - Humboldt Republican - Married: At the Baptist parsonage by Rev. W.J. Robinson on Wednesday forenoon, Oct. 31, 1917, Mr. John B. Telshaw of St. Cloud, Minn., and Miss Gladys Reta Franklin, of Livermore, Iowa.
In the presence of a few immediate relatives of the contracting parties the words were spoken which made them man and wife.
The groom was raised in Livermore, Iowa, and a few years ago moved from that place with his parents, who at this time live at Sartell, Minn. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Benj. Frarklin, of Livermore.
The bride was raised in Livermore also and is the daughter of Mrs. Susie Key, but was raised to maturity by Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Franklin of Livermore. She attended school for several years and later on spent some time in the employ of the telephone company. The bride and groom took their departure for their new home in Minnesota soon after the ceremony, where the best wishes of their friends accompany them.
