I know there is no marker for Jasper Lafayette DeFee (my husband's ggrandfather) and I know the information on Jasper and his wife has been passed down from family members. I know for a fact that his first wife, Nancy Buckley DeFee is not buried at that cemetery. The death date for his "wife" is actually the death date for his sister, Evaline DeFee. I think there has been confusion over this for years.
Evaline L DeFee never married and I believe she was buried next to Jasper. In William DeFee's family bible under deaths, it shows EL DeFee died July 4, 1899.
