Agnes married James Wallace Taylor about 1850 in Canada. They immigrated in 1866. They were the parents of 9 children, 6 still living in 1900: Eliza, Louisa, Marie, Lavina, Agnes, James (moved to Durango, Co), Jessie, and Robert Wallace.

Oct 9, 1890 - Humboldt county Independent - Mr. James Taylor who during the past summer was supposed to be anywhere from Texas to Jericho or Jerusalem, returned last week from Canada hale and hearty, where he has been visiting his friends and reviewing the scenes of his youthful days.

Nov 26, 1896 - Humboldt county Republican - Mrs. Agnes Taylor started Monday for Canada, County of Huron, where she will spend some time with her aged mother, Mrs. Smiley.

June 23, 1920 - Algona Upper Des Moines - Mrs. Agnes Taylor, 88 years of age, died last week at her home in Livermore. The Taylor family was one of the pioneer families of the Livermore vicinity, coming there in 1886. Mrs. Clarence Blackford, wife of a former well known Algona man, now of St. Louis, is one of Mrs. Taylor's surviving children.

June 25, 1920 - Humboldt Republican - Mr. and Mrs. Glen Taylor are moving back to Livermore from Waterloo where they have lived since their marriage, and will occupy the residence of the late Mrs. Agnes Taylor. Mr. Taylor will be employed here, probably in one of the garages.
