Glen D. Womack, 43, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 1998, in Gulfport.

Mr. Womack was a native of Simpson County and had been a Gulfport resident for over 12 years. He attended Jefferson Schott High in Teledo, Ohio, and was a member of NAACP. He was a Union Representative and worked for South Miss. Regional Center and worked at Wal-Mart in Gulfport.

Survivors include four sons, Mario Watson, Karlos D. Watson and Rick Watson, all of Bassville, and Brandon Jones of Gulfport; four brothers, Ebony Bush and Tessha Womack, both of Teledo, Brittany Parigh of Gulfport and Kiara Womack of Bassville; his mother, Everlyn Newell of Gulfport; his father, RobertWomack of Simpson County; four sisters, Gloria Thomas of Biloxi, Vernetta ''Tina'' Johnson of Magee, Jenny Conley of Gulfport and Evelyn Stewart of Gulfport; three brothers, Billy C. Womack of Magee, Robert Womack Jr. of Bassville and John C. Newell of Gulfport; a longtime companion, Ada Jones of Gulfport; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Lockett-Williams' Mortuary in Gulfport. A service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at People's Missionary Baptist Church in Gulfport, where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
