Mrs. Anna H. Lancey Hetherington died at 1:00 o'clock a.m. Wednesday at her home. 114 East Wakefield avenue following an illness of several weeks.

The body will be in state until time for the funeral services at 10:30 Thursday morning. The Rev. E.D. Owen, pastor of the First Baptist Church will conduct the last rites at the home, and entombment will be in the Sikeston Mausoleum. The Welsh Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Hetherington was born November 19th, 1873 in Chicago. The adopted daughter of the late Mrs. A. E. Lancey. She attended Wellsley College, Wellesly, Mass. In 1894 she was married to Dr. Judson E. Hetherington who predeceased her death in 1928. After residing in Chicago for some years following her marriage, Dr. and Mrs. Hetherington removed to Cody's New Brunswick Canada. From there Mrs. Hetherington came to Sikeston to reside eight yeas ago. Her church affiliation was with the Baptist denomination.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.P. Coleman Jr. and Mrs. T.C. McClure of Sikeston, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
