Charles L. Staub, Jr., of Gettysburg, entered into God's eternal care June 4, 2013, in Hanover.

Born September 16, 1940, in Bonneauville, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Dorothy V. (Speelman) Staub, Sr.

Charles was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Bonneauville. He was also a social member of the Catholic War Veterans Post #1342, Bonneauville as well as the Bonneauville Volunteer Fire Department.

Mr. Staub retired from Winter Gardens of New Oxford after four years of service. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former King's Department Store of Gettysburg and Michael Manor Nursing Home of Gettysburg.

Charles is survived by four brothers, Edwin J. Staub, Donald A. Staub, both of Littlestown, Gerald D. Staub of Bonneauville, Louis A. Staub of New Oxford; his two sisters, Patricia L. Staub of Bonneauville; Gloria J. Harbold of New Oxford; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., June 6, 2013, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Bonneauville, with Father Augusty T. Valomchalil as the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Cemetery.
