Brother of Adeline (John) Costa, Vera Stancato, and Virginia (Denny) Rossi, all of Pueblo.

Survived also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister, Katherine Cribari, and a brother, Joseph Quaranta.

A lifelong Pueblo resident, Mr. Quaranta was a veteran of service with the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and was a member and past president of the Pueblo Musicians Association. He was a noted musician and band leader in a career that spanned more than half a century.

In 1981 he was honored for 50 years of service as the Band Director at the Colorado State Fair, the Oklahoma State Fair, the Monte Vista Sky High Stampede, and the Aks-Ar-Ben State Fair in Nebraska. Cremation, Almont Crematory.
