Edward Wright, 87, of Nampa, died Monday, June 3, 2013 at a local hospital.

Edward F. Wright, 87 of Nampa formerly of Syracuse, New York died Monday, June 3, 2013 at a Nampa hospital.
Ed was born on July 22, 1925 at Walton, New York the son of Ely and Margaret Laing Wright. He was raised and educated in Walton, graduating from High School in 1943. Following high school he joined the US Navy, serving at the end of World War II. Following his discharge from the Navy he returned to New York where he attended Technical Schooling in Long Island. He later went to work for Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, New York where he worked for 35 years until his retirement in 1990.
He married Glenora Thomas on August 9, 1969 at Liverpool, New York.
Following Ed's retirement they moved to North Carolina for a few years before moving to Nampa, Idaho in 2009 where he has since resided.
Ed is survived by his wife, Glenora of Nampa, a son and daughter in law; Tom and Shellie Wright of Nampa, a stepson; Larry J. Dunster, Sr. of Winnabow, North Carolina, and five grandchildren and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June7, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
