Clarence C. Ivey
Feb. 15, 1921 - June 2, 2013

Clarence Cecil "Cec" Ivey, Nampa, Idaho, passed away June 2, 2013, from a broken heart just 30 days after the love of his life, Jackie L. Ivey died.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Nampa First Christian Church, 619 12th Ave S. Services under the direction of Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel with The Rev. Dr. Steve Perotti officiating.
Clarence was born in Fullerton, Neb., on Feb., 15, 1921, to Guy and Elizabeth Ivey. He was raised in Nebraska, and lived in California and Idaho, where he met and married Jackie, on June, 26, 1970. They were married almost 43 years.
Clarence was employed at the Nampa Water Department for 23 years; delivered flowers for Nampa Floral and drove taxi because he knew all of the addresses in town. Clarence returned to school at BSU and obtained his real estate license. Clarence and Jackie owned Ivey's Action Realty in Nampa.
Clarence was a member of Ashlar Lodge #90-33rd Degree Master Mason, Knights of Columbus, Rainbow 80 Order of the Eastern Star, Shriners, Nampa First Christian Church, Elks and Teamsters Union. He served on the Jobs Daughters Council and was a DeMolay "dad."
Clarence was an auctioneer, yodeler and square dance caller. He also loved to dance with his wife, Jackie. They traveled the Northwest with their society and fraternal organizations. Clarence loved horses and talked politics to anyone who listened. He was a master of all trades and could build or fix anything.
Clarence is survived by daughter Delilah White, son Gary Ivey (Kathy), stepson Daniel Walworth (Melissa), stepdaughter Kathleen Ann Masi (Al), stepson Donald Walworth (Tami), and son Douglas Ivey, daughter Kristine Ivey; brother Kenneth Ivey; sisters Ruth Logston (Glen) and Joann Evans (Robert); sister-in-law Gladys Ivey; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie, brother Donald Ivey and his loyal canine companion, Chewy.
The family also extends appreciation to the "Angels" (caregivers) and administrative staff at Streamside Assisted Living, Align Hospice and Valley Medical for their extreme loving care.
"Love you more, Dad."
