Funeral services for Fleet Hilton Lofton of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at Fair River Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lofton, 71, died on June 2, 2013 at King's Daughter's Medical Center. He was born in Mississippi on Sept. 20, 1941 to Clint Lofton and Virgie Ruth (Maxwell) Lofton.

He was a businessman and farmer. He was a member of Fair River Baptist Church, where he was a long-serving deacon. He was a kind, patient, unselfish peacemaker, who loved his family, but above all loved the Lord.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandson, Russ Michael Mangold; and father-in-law, Horace Cato Jr.
Survivors are his wife, Martha (Cato) Lofton; son, Michael Cato Lofton; daughter, Michelle Lofton Mangold and husband, Vince; sister, Barbara (Lofton) Byrd and husband, Cortez; sisters-in-law, Beverly (Cato) Watts and husband, Danny, Lucy (Cato) Goodson and husband, Tommy; and granddaughter, Anna Katelyn Mangold.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Gideon International and the Stained Glass Window Project at Fair River Baptist Church.
