Cynthia Gaye Malone was suddenly taken from this world on May 31, 2013 in a car accident. She was the second daughter of four, born to J.W. and Mary Ellen Malone on March 25, 1952.

Cindy was a lifelong resident of Seymour, never straying too far from her roots. She had been working at Seymour Hospital for almost 11 years, and loved her job and co-workers. She lived life to the fullest and gave her troubles to the Lord, with utmost faith that He would see her through. Cindy's favorite pastime was making a whole new generation of Elvis fans out of her grandkids, and outdoing Jeannie with her Elvis collection.

She leaves behind two daughters, Mindy Land and Peni Delgado, and son-in-law, Anthony Delgado, all of Seymour; her sisters, Sharion Zachary of Ft. Worth, Janie Todd of Denton, and Jeannie Vernon of Clyde; seven grandchildren whom she adored, Margie, Kamille, and Justin, A.J."Squirrel", Hannah, Karmen and Lelynd James; four nieces and 1 nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by two nieces, Sharon Vernon and Shana Phillips.

Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday evening at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at
11 A.M. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the First Baptist Church. As per Cindy's wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes placed by her beloved Mama and Daddy at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Cross Country Emmaus, 2091 FM 600, Haskell, Texas 79521.

Her laughter, her smile, and her joy will be greatly missed.
