Danielle Dixon, age 28, of Rosebud, SD and formerly of Farmington, NM , passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, in Rochester, MN. Funeral Services are Friday, May 17th at 2:00 PM at St. Bridget's Church in Rosebud. Burial at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Mission, SD. Survivors include: Children- EJ Billie-Dixon and Tru Billie-Dixon. Mother- Tracy LaPointe of Rosebud, SD. Father- Wade Dixon of Farmington, NM.

Danielle Maria Dixon was born on February 20, 1985, in Waynesboro, PA, to Wade Dixon and Tracy LaPointe. Her father, Wade, was stationed there while serving in the US Army. Danielle was ill and hospitalized in the Rapid City Regional Hospital from April 19, 2013, through May 2, 2013, when she was flown to Mayo Medical Center in Rochester, MN. Danielle remained hospitalized there until Friday, May 10, 2013, where she sadly passed in to the spirit world.
Danielle was a blessing to her family. She brought two wonderful children in to this world, Ethan "EJ" Dixon-Billie and Tru Billie, whom she loved dearly.
Danielle is survived by her two children, EJ and Tru, her father, Wade Dixon, and step-mother, Cheryl Jones, all from Kirtland, NM, her mother, Tracy LaPointe from Rosebud, SD, her paternal grandmother, Maybelle Dixon from Okreek, SD, Aunts, Uncles and numerous cousins and friends.
Danielle was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Edward LaPointe, her paternal grandfather, James Dixon, maternal grandmother, Genevieve White Wing, as well as Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Wake services were held on Wednesday, May 15th, and Thursday, May 16th, at St Bridget's Hall in Rosebud, SD. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 17th, at the St Bridget's Catholic Church in Rosebud, SD. Danielle was laid to rest in the St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Mission, SD.
