Vicy M. Williams

Vicy M. Williams, 85, of McCarr, Ky., died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Skilled Nursing Facility of Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, Ky.

She was born July 25, 1919, in Pike County, Ky., a daughter of the late Kenny and Clemmie Coleman Smith.

She was married first to Wilson Bevins 1913-1978 and had two sons and one daughter.

Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by her second husband, James V. Williams; two brothers and four sisters.

She was a former cook at Justice Drive-In and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Tommy Bevins and Larry Bevins, both of McCarr; one daughter, Patsy Davenport of Delaware, Ohio; one sister, Bonnie Duemig of Clearwater, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2004, at Rogers Funeral Home in Belfry, Ky., with ministers Mike Smith, Buddy Kendrick and Lonnie Francis officiating.

Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery at Ransom, Ky.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Rogers Funeral Home with special services set for 7 p.m. with Primitive Baptist.

R.E. Rogers Funeral Home at Belfry, Ky. is in charge of arrangements.
